How to Set Up Your Profile

Creating a complete and engaging profile on The Pattern Club helps you connect with other members and showcase your stitchy personality. Follow these steps to set up and personalize your profile with essential details, a profile picture, a banner image, and more information.

Setting Up Your Profile

From The Pattern Club Membership Platform, click on your profile picture in the top right corner. Find the Profile dropdown and click on Edit.

Edit "Details" Information

This section allows you to update your personal details and control who can see them:

• First Name, Last Name, and Nickname: Enter your name information. These fields are required, and their visibility is set to public by default.
• Birthday: Add your birthdate (day, month, and year). You can adjust who sees this information by clicking the CHANGE button.

You can customize the visibility of your last name and birthday to keep them private or limit access to specific groups. Save your changes to update your profile.

Edit "Personal Info"

This section lets you share details about yourself and customize what others can see. Here's what you can update:

• About Me: Write a short bio to introduce yourself to others. This is public by default.
• I Am From: Share your location (e.g., The Netherlands). You can adjust visibility using the CHANGE button.
• I Have Been Stitching Since: Add the date you started stitching by selecting a day, month, and year. This is also public unless you adjust the settings.
• My Favorite Designer: List your favorite designers. If you have more than one, separate them with commas.
• My Stitch Tip: Share your best stitching tip or hack that has helped you in your projects.

For all fields, you can modify who can view the information by clicking the CHANGE button. Save your updates to personalize your profile and connect with the community!

Profile Photo

Change Profile Photo:

• Uploading: Select an image from your device.
• Taking a Photo: Use your device's camera to capture a new image.
• Drag and Drop: Drop an image directly into the upload area.
• Select File: Manually browse and choose a file from your device.

Change Cover Photo

Customize the header of your profile by updating or removing your cover photo. Here's how:

• Upload a New Cover Photo:
• Drag and Drop: Drop your image directly into the designated area.
• Select Your File: Browse and upload an image from your device.
• Recommended Dimensions: For best results, upload an image that is 1950px by 450px or larger to ensure proper display.
• Delete Cover Photo: If you no longer want a cover photo, click the DELETE MY COVER PHOTO button to remove it.

Once updated, your new cover photo will enhance the visual appeal of your profile. Don't forget to save your changes!

Quick Guide

• Log in to The Pattern Club and click your profile picture in the top right corner.
• Navigate to the Profile dropdown and click Edit.
• Update personal details under Details or Personal Info.
• Upload or change your profile photo and cover photo.
• Save your changes to personalize your profile.
