Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the The Pattern Club Loyalty Program. These terms explain how Stitches, badges, and ranks currently work on the site.

Earning Stitches

Stitches are only earned through the active loyalty triggers that are currently live on the site. At the time of this update those are account activation, avatar upload, cover image upload, completing your profile, monthly visits, and selected automatic milestone rewards such as birthdays or membership milestones when enabled. Legacy form-based rewards are no longer part of the active program. Stitch Along submission forms, review-form shares, and old pattern review rewards are retired and do not create new Stitches.

Using Stitches at Checkout

Stitches can only be redeemed by active members on eligible paid orders. Free trials, expired memberships, and ineligible carts cannot redeem Stitches. The checkout cap is based on what is in the cart:
  • Physical products: up to 25% of the physical-product value can be paid with Stitches.
  • Digital products: up to 50% of the digital-product value can be paid with Stitches.
  • Mixed carts: the cap is calculated proportionally as 25% of physical-product value plus 50% of digital-product value.
The final number of redeemable Stitches is also limited by your current Stitches balance.

Badges, Titles, and Ranks

Badges, titles, and ranks can be awarded automatically when their requirements are met. Some are based on profile activity or loyalty milestones. Stitch Along badges are being migrated to a membership-period model so members who were active during a Stitch Along period can be awarded the correct badge automatically.

Account Status and Fair Use

The Pattern Club may review, adjust, or remove loyalty rewards if activity is fraudulent, abusive, duplicated, or clearly outside the intent of the program. If a loyalty balance needs to be corrected, the adjustment may be recorded in the loyalty ledger for audit purposes.

Program Updates

The loyalty program can evolve over time. We may update earning rules, redemption caps, badge logic, or explanatory content when the underlying site functionality changes. The current on-site logic always takes precedence over outdated help text.
